Interim Group Financial Accountant

About the role

This interim position supports a Group Finance team during a period of transformation. The role combines hands‑on financial reporting with the chance to improve and streamline Group Finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly group consolidation process.
• Prepare accurate and timely Group management reporting.
• Coordinate the consolidation of budgets and forecasts across the Group.
• Support the preparation of half‑year and year‑end statutory reporting under IFRS.
• Act as a key contact during the external audit process.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve reporting processes.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, automation and standardisation.
• Work with internal stakeholders and offshore teams to transition suitable activities and improve efficiency.
• Document and embed improved reporting processes and controls.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience).
• Proven experience in group consolidation.
• Strong understanding of IFRS reporting requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and offshore teams.
