Interim HR Transformation Lead (12‑month FTC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim HR Transformation Lead to join a fast‑growing organisation undergoing significant change. This 12‑month fixed‑term role will focus on delivering, implementing and embedding key HR initiatives, modernising operations and supporting the business through a comprehensive transformation programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large‑scale HR transformation programme.
• Embed and enhance a business‑partnering approach across the HR function.
• Design and implement an HR shared services model, including processes, systems and operating frameworks.
• Drive organisational design and change initiatives.
• Support the transformation of recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
• Manage multiple transformation and integration projects simultaneously.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor progress against agreed objectives and provide regular updates to leadership teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across people processes and systems.
• Support the delivery of change management and organisational development initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading HR transformation, organisational change or operating‑model programmes.
• Experience building or implementing shared services functions.
• Strong knowledge of HR business‑partnering models and organisational design.
• Proven track record of delivering successful change in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Pragmatic, delivery‑focused approach with the ability to quickly build credibility.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent HR leadership experience.
• Availability to start on short or immediate notice.
