Interim Investment Analyst – Infrastructure Assets

About the role

This interim position supports a private‑equity backed infrastructure platform in London. Over a six‑month period you will monitor financial performance, value a large portfolio of long‑life assets and provide insight for strategic investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term financial models for a portfolio of infrastructure assets.
• Produce regular cash‑flow forecasts, valuation updates and performance reports.
• Assess financial impact of operational, market and financing changes.
• Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to guide planning and investment.
• Monitor portfolio performance against business plans and identify value drivers.
• Prepare analysis for executive leadership, shareholders, lenders and other stakeholders.
• Support refinancing exercises, investment reviews and strategic projects.
• Liaise with external advisers, lenders and financial institutions on valuation assumptions.

Required profile

• Strong background in investment analysis, valuations, infrastructure advisory or project finance.
• Demonstrated commercial judgement and ability to interpret financial performance.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA or equivalent are desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel financial modelling.
• Experience building DCF, valuation and long‑term forecasting models.
