Interim PMO/Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim PMO Manager to lead a large‑scale enterprise transformation programme for a fast‑growing, privately owned organisation. Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide governance, coordination and delivery oversight across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Programme Management Office for a major business transformation.
• Establish and maintain programme governance, reporting, RAID logs, integrated plans and executive dashboards.
• Coordinate workstreams across Technology, Finance, Operations and other business functions.
• Manage relationships with external systems integrators and implementation partners, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones.
• Drive collaboration between third‑party suppliers and internal leads, managing dependencies and resolving issues.
• Identify and escalate programme risks, blockers and interdependencies.
• Facilitate steering committees, governance forums and programme reviews with senior stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely programme reporting, resource planning and financial tracking.
• Support programme planning, prioritisation and decision‑making across the wider transformation portfolio.
• Champion PMO best practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong PMO leadership combined with hands‑on programme or project management experience.
• Proven ability to operate in fast‑paced transformation environments.
• Comfort influencing senior stakeholders and challenging delivery partners.
• Capability to keep multiple workstreams aligned to programme objectives.

• 12‑month contract (outside IR35) at £550 per day.
• Hybrid working model – 3 days onsite in Leeds, 2 days remote.
