Interim Procurement Business Partner – Financial Services

About the role

This interim position offers an experienced procurement professional the chance to lead end‑to‑end procurement activities within a values‑led financial services organisation. You will operate in a regulated environment, balancing commercial delivery with robust third‑party risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requisition to contract award and supplier onboarding.
• Drive sourcing across multiple spend categories (excluding IT/Technology) and ensure projects meet timelines.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities to support business targets.
• Provide commercial challenge, negotiate contracts, and improve value for money while reducing risk.
• Partner with budget holders and stakeholders across the UK to deliver a supportive procurement service.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, third‑party risk assessments, and support supplier exit planning.
• Maintain compliance with internal governance, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor procurement pipelines, contractual risks, and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Recent procurement experience within Financial Services, Banking or another FCA‑regulated environment.
• Strong background in Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM).
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end sourcing and supplier governance.
• Experience supporting supplier due diligence and risk assessments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
