Interim Procurement Operations Manager

About the role

This interim position supports a high‑profile procurement transformation programme within a large, complex organisation. You will work across multiple business units to improve Source‑to‑Pay processes, drive operational efficiency and help users adopt new ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) improvement initiatives, analysing current processes and identifying gaps.
• Gather requirements, assist with system enhancements and optimise procurement workflows.
• Analyse procurement data to uncover improvement opportunities and propose practical solutions.
• Develop training materials, deliver user sessions and provide guidance to facilitate adoption of new processes.
• Assist with catalogue management, supplier purchasing processes and related operational improvements.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, facilitate discussions, present recommendations and influence decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Procurement Operations, Procurement Excellence, Source‑to‑Pay or procurement transformation environments.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end procurement processes within complex organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify improvement opportunities and translate findings into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience delivering training and supporting change initiatives.
