Interim Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

This 6‑month interim position is based in Chichester and focuses on delivering the annual statutory accounts for a forward‑thinking business services organisation. You will lead the preparation, presentation and compliance of key financial statements while collaborating closely with external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the production and filing of statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Manage treasury activities, cash‑flow forecasting and banking arrangements, ensuring covenant compliance.
• Direct financial system administration, including finance software, reporting tools and process improvements.
• Integrate digital innovations to enhance decision‑making and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial accounting within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong technical expertise in managing complex financial systems and statutory reporting.
• Proactive, meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
