Interim Warehouse Transformation Project Manager

About the role

This interim position leads a high‑impact warehouse transformation programme for a leading UK food manufacturer. You will redesign processes, implement a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and embed robust inventory controls to future‑proof the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the transformation steering group to define future‑state warehouse processes.
• Lead WMS implementation and ensure full utilisation of system capabilities.
• Standardise operational workflows and embed governance frameworks.
• Collaborate across Warehouse, Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory and Manufacturing teams.
• Identify and embed operational improvements to support the next generation of manufacturing.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale warehouse or logistics transformation projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to challenge existing ways of working.
• Excellent stakeholder management across cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work on‑site in Berkshire for a 6‑9 month assignment.
