Interim Workday Reporting Specialist

About the role

This six‑month interim position supports a major self‑service reporting transformation for a multi‑site organisation. You will lead the design and delivery of Workday dashboards that replace manual spreadsheet reporting and give finance and commercial teams real‑time insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy intuitive Workday dashboards for Finance and wider business functions.
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, Commercial and Operational stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and prioritise enhancements.
• Build Workday data sources, calculated fields and security models to ensure accurate and user‑friendly reporting.
• Run pilot deployments, collect feedback and refine solutions before full rollout.
• Drive adoption of self‑service reporting through training, stakeholder engagement and best‑practice guidance.
• Collaborate closely with the internal Workday team to maximise platform capability and resolve technical issues.
• Produce documentation, governance and ownership processes for a sustainable reporting environment.
• Monitor project milestones and KPIs, identifying further improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Workday Reporting Specialist or similar role.
• Hands‑on delivery mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of finance reporting processes.
• Ability to work independently and leave a lasting reporting legacy.
