Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

About the role

Urban Planters is seeking an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician to join our Oxford‑based team. You will be responsible for the care and upkeep of tropical and artificial plant displays across a variety of business environments, ensuring a vibrant and healthy indoor landscape for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Water, feed and perform pest control on live plant displays.
• Replace dead, dying or overgrown plants and maintain artificial displays.
• Assist with the installation of new plant displays and seasonal installations.
• Complete all maintenance dockets, documentation and timesheets accurately.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers, identifying potential sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge is advantageous; horticulture qualification desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, though full training will be provided.
• Professional attitude, commitment to client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
