Join a leading family-owned British business in the home decor sector and play a pivotal role in connecting our people. As our Internal Communications Officer, you will be the heartbeat of our community, fostering engagement and giving a voice to our diverse workforce across more than 280 locations.

Missions principales

  • Community Management: Manage and moderate the Viva Engage platform, specifically the 'All Company' community, to drive daily interaction.
  • Content Creation: Adopt a journalistic approach to identify, write, and produce engaging stories, news, colleague spotlights, and wellbeing/inclusion campaigns.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, the internal magazine team, and operational departments to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Engagement & Training: Lead awareness sessions and training to empower employees in using our communication tools.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to continuously improve the effectiveness of our internal communication strategies.
  • Employer Branding: Support recruitment efforts by keeping our talent platforms up to date with fresh, engaging content.

Profil recherché

  • Proven experience in internal communications, journalism, or content creation.
  • A natural storyteller with the ability to identify impactful human-interest stories.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable communication improvements.
  • Ability to work flexibly (25 hours/week) in a hybrid environment.

Competences requises

  • Expertise in Social Media/Community Management (Viva Engage/Yammer preferred).
  • Exceptional writing and journalistic storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and engagement analytics.
  • Project management and campaign coordination.
