Internal Recruiter – Professional Services

About the role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading professional services organisation in Southampton as an Internal Recruiter. You will work closely with the HR team to design and deliver effective recruitment strategies that attract top talent. The position is based on‑site and reports to the HR manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and advertising to interviewing and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
• Write and post compelling job adverts across relevant channels.
• Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews and assess candidate suitability.
• Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners.
• Provide guidance on best practices and ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal policies.
• Track recruitment metrics and produce regular reports to improve hiring efficiency.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recruitment or a related HR role within the professional services sector.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, techniques and UK employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
