Internal Sales & Account Developer (French/German)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Internal Sales and Account Developer to join our office‑based team in Eastbourne. The role focuses on delivering technical advice on locking solutions, driving sales and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries via phone and email, providing prompt and courteous service.
• Assign enquiries to the appropriate salesperson and follow up quotations to move negotiations towards closure.
• Proactively contact existing customers on a regular basis to assess satisfaction and identify future requirements.
• Prepare and negotiate purchase contracts for scheduled and unscheduled deliveries.
• Analyse purchasing trends and manage special pricing for key accounts.
• Compile reports on customer activity and support the Head of Sales with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and German.
• Minimum GCSE passes in Maths and English.
• At least two years’ experience in a sales office or customer‑service environment.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
