Internal Sales Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Account Manager to join a well‑established business serving the water, civil engineering and utility sectors. In this office‑based position you will support customers from their first enquiry through to delivery, helping to grow long‑term relationships through excellent service and expert advice.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries by telephone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders.
• Follow up on quotations and sales enquiries to drive conversion.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the order lifecycle.
• Recommend suitable products and alternative solutions where appropriate.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve enquiries efficiently.
• Develop a thorough understanding of a specialist product range.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer accounts.
