Internal Sales Executive

About the role

Join a small, supportive team as an Internal Sales Executive, driving new business, account growth and long‑term customer relationships. You will work closely with account management and marketing to generate leads, qualify prospects and convert enquiries into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to prospects, qualify leads and create new business opportunities.
• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, prepare and follow up on quotes to maximise conversion.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and repeat customers.
• Support retention of key clients while uncovering additional revenue opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of sales opportunities through to order/sample stage.
• Keep CRM records up to date, tracking enquiries, quotes and interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams including account management, marketing and operations.
• Re‑engage dormant customers and follow up on marketing‑generated leads.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an internal sales, customer‑facing or proactive sales role.
• Confident phone communicator with a strong commercial focus.
• Self‑motivated, proactive mindset and ability to manage opportunities through to conversion.
• Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Own transport required for the Buckingham location.
