Internal Sales Manager

About the role

We are an award‑winning financial services company based in Fleet seeking an Internal Sales Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. You will join the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, and help drive high‑quality service and commercial outcomes for our specialist buy‑to‑let lending business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and line management for the Internal Sales team, including coaching and development.
• Represent Sales at internal and external meetings, projects and strategic forums.
• Support ad‑hoc project work and organisational initiatives as required.
• Oversee workflow management, staff competency and training requirements.
• Ensure telephone‑based teams maximise business performance and service quality.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience within sales or financial services, with a track record of producing management reports for senior teams.
• Demonstrable people‑management skills, including coaching and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market or FCA‑regulated financial services; specialist buy‑to‑let lending experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, highly organised and solution‑focused.
