International Medical Assistance Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a specialist international healthcare organisation as an International Medical Assistance Nurse. Working from an office environment, you will use your clinical expertise to coordinate patient care worldwide, supporting emergency evacuations, repatriations and family assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange emergency medical evacuations and international repatriations for patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors and nurses to ensure timely, appropriate treatment across borders.
• Provide clinical decision‑making support to patients and families in crisis situations.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and coordinate follow‑up care.
• Participate in structured career development programmes and training.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience equivalent to NHS Band 6 (or similar).
• Willingness to move away from bedside nursing while retaining clinical responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends on a rota basis.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
