International Tax Adviser – US Tax Filings

About the role

The International Tax Adviser will support the preparation and filing of US tax returns for non‑US resident corporate, partnership and individual partners. You will work closely with the Partner Finance, Tax Processes & Controls and Global Tax teams to ensure accurate tax compliance across jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare schedules and information for non‑US resident corporate, partnership and individual partner US tax filings, including profit share ratios, remuneration calculations and ledger analyses.
• Maintain and reconcile US federal and state income tax liabilities, payments and tax reserves.
• Assist Partner Finance with balance‑sheet reconciliations for worldwide tax payments and withholding tax.
• Prepare, review and file partnership tax returns, Schedule K‑1s and related US tax computations.
• Monitor and reconcile US tax reserves for non‑US partners and vice‑versa throughout the year.
• Calculate quarterly US tax pre‑payments and support state tax and PTET analysis.
• Oversee administrative US tax processes such as ITIN applications and IRS form signatures.
• Coordinate global tax compliance information for partners, including DTR claims for UK‑resident partners and responses to Global Tax Compliance Questionnaires.
• Support transfer pricing, withholding tax management and other International Tax team projects.
• Process third‑party tax adviser invoices and track spend against budget.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax regulations for non‑US residents.
• Experience preparing partnership tax returns (Form 1065) and Schedule K‑1.
• Ability to reconcile tax ledgers, reserves and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Familiarity with ITIN applications and tax compliance questionnaires.
• Experience collaborating with international tax and finance teams.
