Internet and Data Services Engineer

About the role

Join a team at the heart of a large‑scale, mission‑critical network environment where your expertise underpins connectivity for millions of customers. As an Internet and Data Services Engineer you will design, support and optimise high‑performance IP/MPLS core networks across WAN, LAN and mobile backhaul services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain IP/MPLS core infrastructure for 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, Voice and IMS services.
• Monitor and improve network resilience, availability and performance in an always‑on environment.
• Apply ITIL processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001 and industry governance such as N3, PCI, FSA and IL2/3.
• Troubleshoot complex routing, switching and security issues across Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, Fortinet and F5 platforms.
• Contribute to managed‑service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Technically confident engineer who enjoys hands‑on ownership of network challenges.
• Experience working in core or aggregation networks within an ISP or service‑provider environment.
• CCNP‑level knowledge or equivalent experience in large‑scale network design.
