About the role
Reeson Education is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join a supportive and inclusive school in Rotherham. The role focuses on helping pupils overcome learning barriers, improve confidence, and achieve their full academic potential.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group targeted interventions.
- Identify learning gaps and implement effective strategies.
- Support pupils in building confidence, independence and engagement.
- Monitor, assess and record progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, parents and external professionals to develop individual learning plans.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably delivering interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Patient, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
