Intervention Teacher (Primary)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Primary Intervention Teacher to join a highly regarded OFSTED "Good" rated primary school in Wandsworth. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a temporary‑to‑permanent pathway, supporting pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver targeted intervention sessions for small groups of pupils in core subjects.
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that address individual learning needs.
• Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Boost pupils' confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure effective support.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• High expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate pupils.
