Inventory Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organised and detail‑focused Inventory Coordinator to support a leading life‑sciences organisation in Warrington. You will ensure that manufacturing teams have the right materials at the right time, maintaining strict accuracy and compliance within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Use daily pick sheets to locate and prepare materials for production.
• Manage and track multiple active formulas and material requirements.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and locate items across storage locations.
• Weigh materials before and after use and complete all related records.
• Record inventory movements and transactions in SAP.
• Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Handle and store materials in line with GMP and company procedures.
• Facilitate material flow between warehouse, storage, and laboratory‑style production areas.
• Work in temperature‑controlled environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas.
• Ensure documentation meets quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in materials coordination, inventory control, stock control, warehouse administration or similar roles.
• Experience using SAP or other ERP/inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Problem‑solving skills with confidence to resolve stock discrepancies.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (pharmaceutical, biotech, etc.) is advantageous.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accurate record‑keeping.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
