Investment Analyst

About the role

Tamar Capital is looking for an Investment Analyst to join its London‑based investment team. You will work within a small, nimble family office, gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio and a wide range of investment opportunities across private‑equity and financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry and company research.
• Prepare financial models and perform investment analysis.
• Assist with due diligence on prospective investment opportunities.
• Analyse financial statements and business performance.
• Prepare presentations, reports and investment papers.
• Support portfolio monitoring and reporting.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• Up to two years of relevant experience, including internships or placement years.
• Strong analytical, numerical and commercial awareness.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Genuine interest in investments, private equity and financial markets.
• Proactive, curious and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
