Investment Banking Associate – EMEA Financial Institutions Group

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Associate to join the EMEA Financial Institutions Group (FIG) within JPMorgan’s Investment Banking division in London. The role involves supporting the origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions for banks, asset managers, insurers and FinTech clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Cover the EMEA FIG market across sectors such as banking, asset management, insurance and FinTech.
• Perform large and complex valuation and analytical exercises.
• Prepare presentation books, management presentations, board materials and memoranda for M&A and capital markets deals.
• Support transaction execution, including due diligence, document preparation and coordination with legal and accounting advisers.
• Monitor market and regulatory developments relevant to the client base.
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Highly motivated individual eager to work in a dynamic investment banking team.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage client transactions from pitch to close.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing client presentations and materials.
