About the role
Citi is seeking an Investment Banking Senior Analyst to support M&A transactions and capital‑raising activities for corporate clients. The role sits within the Corporate & Investment Bank team in London and works closely with senior bankers on client engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior CIB officers on client transactions, projects and assignments.
- Organise and analyse sophisticated financial data for client proposals and strategic plans.
- Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
- Conduct economic and financial research, evaluating company performance against industry trends.
- Build complex financial models for valuation and risk assessment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Citi policies, escalating control issues as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
