Investment Management Administrator

About the role
This position provides comprehensive support to two Investment Managers, acting as a trusted point of contact for high‑net‑worth clients and liaising with Financial Planners and internal operational teams. Based in Newcastle with hybrid working after probation, the role blends administration with client‑facing responsibilities to ensure an exceptional end‑to‑end experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage client administration from instruction through to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates.
- Process cash transfers, foreign‑exchange transactions and monitor account balances.
- Open new client accounts and ensure AML documentation is accurate.
- Liaise with internal teams on transfers, corporate actions and client servicing.
- Prepare documentation for client meetings, presentations and new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate client records and back‑office systems.
- Collaborate with external Financial Planners when required.
- Support and mentor junior colleagues as a senior member of the administration team.
- Identify risks, uphold regulatory standards and ensure work is completed efficiently.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting Investment Managers in an Investment or Wealth Management environment.
- Proven ability to handle complex client administration.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Good understanding of investment products, asset classes and investment management processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.

- Basic salary negotiable, £30,000 – £37,500 per year.
