Investment Operations Analyst

About the role

Barclays is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to support Private Banking Wealth Management (PBWM) in Glasgow. The role focuses on day‑to‑day processing, reviewing, reporting and issue resolution for client accounts, products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Process, review and report on private bank and wealth management transactions.
• Resolve issues related to accounts, products and services promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align and integrate PBWM processes.
• Identify improvement areas and recommend changes to enhance efficiency.
• Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate operational risk.
• Prepare reports and presentations on PBWM performance for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and apply best practices to PBWM services.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving PBWM effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of corporate actions (UK and international) and their impact on wealth management.
• Understanding of product types including equities, bonds, funds, hedge funds, derivatives and private markets.
• Experience delivering change‑management initiatives across the corporate‑action lifecycle.
• Background in asset servicing or investment operations, preferably within private banking.
