iOS Developer – Hybrid (UK)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join a high‑profile digital transformation programme for a leading UK financial services organisation. You will work on customer‑facing mobile applications used by millions, within an Agile, DevOps‑enabled, cloud‑native engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality native iOS applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects and engineering teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues and security concerns.
• Support the delivery of secure, scalable and resilient mobile solutions.
• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing native iOS applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Swift and modern iOS development practices.
• Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture patterns.
• Proven ability to consume RESTful APIs and integrate backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and Git‑based source control.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
