IT 1st Line Support – Technical Support I

About the role

We are looking for an IT Technical Support I to join our global support team. You will provide first‑line assistance to customers, staff, interpreters and BSL users, handling both deskside and remote issues across a range of platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver desktop support to on‑site and remote users, logging all interactions in the CRM and ticketing system.
• Escalate complex incidents to the Head of IT or external contractors and follow through to resolution.
• Perform configuration and maintenance tasks on Video Relay Service (VRS) platforms after training.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, VRS platforms and video applications to ensure security and performance.
• Provision and test hardware and software before dispatch, maintaining accurate records.
• Prioritise and act on user feedback to meet internal and external deadlines.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
• Ability to work within a shift‑rotation pattern.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
