IT Applications Analyst

About the role

Join a leading US law firm’s London office as an IT Applications Analyst, responsible for the operational support and continuous improvement of enterprise application environments. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance while working in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ongoing system maintenance, patching, and upgrades in line with change management procedures.
• Manage user access controls, including provisioning, de‑provisioning, and regular access reviews.
• Monitor system health and performance, conduct health checks and proactively remediate issues.
• Respond to incidents and service requests, meeting SLA targets.
• Provide break/fix troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis across supported systems.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support scalability and optimisation.
• Align delivery teams with Information Security and Infrastructure requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and monitor adoption success criteria for new applications.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in enterprise application support or IT operations, preferably within a law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of access management, patch management and vulnerability remediation processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management).
• Exposure to application performance tuning, cloud platforms or scripting (PowerShell, Python).

• Salary up to £55,000 per year plus market‑leading benefits.
• Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
• Standard office hours 09:30‑17:30, Monday‑Friday.
