IT Business Analyst

About the role

Robert Half is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support business and technology change within a highly regulated environment in Bedford. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, improve processes and help deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions and analyse technical and operational environments.
• Gather, document and manage business and technical requirements.
• Create process maps, logical diagrams and operational documentation.
• Assess systems, applications and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Define acceptance criteria and support solution delivery.
• Perform feasibility and impact assessments for change initiatives.
• Maintain and prioritise requirements backlogs.
• Engage with technology, operations, project management and leadership teams.
• Support continuous improvement and business transformation activities.

Required profile

• Strong business analysis experience with requirements elicitation and management.
• Proven process analysis and improvement capabilities.
• Excellent data analysis and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• BCS Diploma or equivalent Business Analysis qualification.
• SC Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and detail‑oriented mindset.
