About the role

The IT Business Lead Analyst – Vice President role bridges business users and technology teams to drive strategic initiatives within Citi’s global banking operations. Reporting to senior technology leadership, you will shape system enhancements, manage risk, and support continuous performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input during development and implementation phases, defining system scope, objectives and enhancements for high‑impact projects.
• Identify, communicate and mitigate risks, considering business implications of technology applications.
• Consult with business clients to determine functional specifications and collaborate with multiple management teams to meet organizational goals.
• Evaluate emerging IT developments and evolving business requirements, recommending system alternatives or enhancements.
• Deliver in‑depth analyses, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions.
• Supervise day‑to‑day staff management, including resource allocation, mentoring and coaching.
• Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and Citi’s reputation safeguards.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in business analysis within a large financial services or banking environment.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications.
• Strong risk‑assessment mindset with a focus on compliance and governance.
• Leadership experience managing teams, allocating resources and providing mentorship.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between business stakeholders and technology teams.
