IT Cross Function Auditor VP – London (Hybrid)

About the role

This 6‑month contract position is for an experienced IT Cross‑Function Auditor at VP level, working within the Internal Audit team of an international bank. The role is based in London with a hybrid working pattern (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and offers a daily rate of £500‑£870 via an umbrella company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and reporting of IT audit assignments across the EMEA region.
• Assess IT governance, infrastructure, applications and cybersecurity controls.
• Identify control weaknesses and provide practical remediation recommendations.
• Prepare and present audit findings to senior stakeholders.
• Oversee and mentor junior team members throughout engagements.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT audit experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as DORA and GDPR.
• Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end IT audit engagements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC) are highly desirable.
