IT Governance & Access Management Analyst

About the role

This position is for a motivated, hands‑on IT Governance & Access Management Analyst within a UK‑based bank. You will be responsible for the administration, governance and oversight of user and privileged access across the organisation’s IT landscape, while supporting broader IT governance activities such as audit coordination, risk management and documentation control.

Key responsibilities

• Administer user access on core business and technology platforms, handling creation, modification, disabling and periodic reviews.
• Support joiner/mover/leaver processes and ensure compliance with segregation of duties and least‑privilege principles.
• Maintain IT risk and control registers, monitor control effectiveness and track remediation actions.
• Coordinate responses to internal and external audit requests, gather evidence and manage audit evidence repositories.
• Maintain the IT policy, procedure and standards framework, including document version control and periodic updates.
• Assist with IT project delivery tracking, maintaining action logs, risk logs, issue registers and status reports.
• Produce regular governance reporting on access management activities, audit actions and risk items for management committees.

Required profile

• Experience in user access management, identity administration, IT operations or related governance disciplines.
• Understanding of access control principles such as least privilege and segregation of duties.
• Proven ability to support audits, compliance reviews or governance activities.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
