About the role

This is a two‑year fixed‑term IT Graduate programme with Birketts LLP, a top‑50 UK law firm. You will rotate through four six‑month placements across different IT teams, gaining hands‑on experience and working on real tasks and small projects. Each rotation includes a dedicated mentor and access to soft‑skill and business development training.

Key responsibilities

• Complete four six‑month rotations across Service Delivery, Security & Compliance, Data Systems, Product Delivery & Development, Infrastructure or End User Computing.
• Deliver real tasks and small projects within each team, supporting fee earners and daily firm operations.
• Collaborate with mentors to receive regular feedback and guidance.
• Participate in training programmes that develop both technical and business competencies.
• Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives while building a network across the IT function.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student with a strong interest in IT.
• Willingness to work across multiple IT disciplines on a rotational basis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
