IT Infrastructure Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our Guildford studio on a six‑month contract. You will provide on‑site technical assistance, support the existing IT team during a busy period, and help maintain the studio’s local infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for hardware, software and network issues across desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Manage and resolve tickets through the helpdesk system, ensuring timely response.
• Assist with user onboarding and off‑boarding, including account creation, equipment provisioning and access rights.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows client and server environments.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventory and system configurations.
• Support server‑room activities, monitoring, and routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with global IT, networking, security and Linux teams on incidents and system changes.
• Provide remote assistance to overseas locations when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an on‑site IT or infrastructure support role.
• Strong background supporting Windows desktop environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration.
• Good understanding of hardware, software and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN).
• Experience with user account management and onboarding processes.
