IT Manager – Education (Northolt)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Manager to lead the technology strategy for a school in Northolt. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and security of the school's ICT network, ensuring it supports effective teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the school's network infrastructure and ICT applications.
• Monitor and maintain switches, virtual and physical server environments, Microsoft 365, and backup solutions.
• Provide technical advice, training, and support to staff.
• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations and ensure timely handling of service requests.
• Line‑manage ICT support staff and deliver 2nd/3rd line support.
• Enforce IT policies and conduct internal staff training.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience as an IT Manager, Network Manager or Senior ICT Consultant in a school environment.
• Strong understanding of the unique requirements of educational ICT systems.
• Proven experience upgrading school IT networks.
• Self‑motivated with excellent communication and customer service skills.
