IT Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Manager to join a growing business in Cheshire during an exciting period of change. Reporting to the Head of IT & Facilities, you will become the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day IT support, systems administration and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support across the business.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
• Support and maintain core business systems including ERP, CRM and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Collaborate with external IT providers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
• Assist with IT infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Help implement and roll out new business systems and technology projects.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and hardware deployment.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities through technology.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery processes.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in IT support, systems or infrastructure roles.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to build relationships.
• Customer‑focused, patient and approachable.
• Willingness to take ownership of operational IT activities.
