IT Manager

About the role

Take ownership of the internal technology environment for a boutique firm, supporting around 70 users and working closely with the CTO to deliver high‑quality IT services and drive innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day IT function for ~70 users, providing high‑quality support.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Autopilot and endpoint management.
• Build and deploy devices, handle joiners, movers and leavers, and maintain workplace technology.
• Administer security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Mimecast and Egress.
• Manage relationships with MSPs, telecom providers and software vendors, ensuring service standards.
• Lead IT improvement projects, software rollouts and technology upgrades.
• Review contracts, licences and renewals to maximise value and control costs.
• Collaborate with the CTO to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experienced IT professional with broad Microsoft infrastructure background.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding IT service and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Hands‑on technical expertise combined with project and continuous‑improvement experience.
• Ready to take ownership of an internal IT function, either as an established IT Manager or a senior engineer seeking progression.
