IT Manager / Network Manager for School

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead the ICT network within a school environment. You will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and security of both curriculum and administrative technology systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the management, installation and ongoing maintenance of the school’s ICT hardware and software infrastructure.
• Ensure network availability, performance and security across all sites.
• Manage ICT support contracts, provide technical support and arrange emergency cover.
• Deliver 2nd/3rd line consultative support to staff and students.
• Plan and execute upgrades of the school’s IT systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior ICT Technician or similar role within a school or education setting.
• Strong knowledge of switches, virtual and physical server environments and backup solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels.
