IT Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and acquisition of hardware, software and technology services for a large, fast‑paced organisation in Wembley. The role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day operational execution, aiming to optimise spend, strengthen supplier relationships and deliver measurable commercial value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement processes for IT hardware, software and services, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
• Develop and implement annual procurement plans aligned with technology strategy and business needs.
• Identify and realise cost‑saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation and contract optimisation.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking and supplier reviews to inform sourcing decisions.
• Ensure robust governance, due‑diligence and approval procedures throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and support technology initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance, contractual compliance and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT procurement within a large, dynamic organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering cost‑saving initiatives.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on operational capability.
