IT Programme Manager – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager to lead multiple high‑impact technology programmes for a fast‑growing engineering business in London. Reporting to the Head of IT PMO, you will drive digital transformation, cyber security, cloud, infrastructure and enterprise application initiatives across a complex, acquisition‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large‑scale IT and business transformation programmes, including cloud migration, AI adoption, and infrastructure modernisation.
• Manage concurrent projects and workstreams, ensuring governance, risk mitigation and budget adherence.
• Develop programme roadmaps, resource plans and financial controls, reporting progress to executive leadership.
• Oversee cyber security programmes such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Coordinate major application projects (ERP, HR, CRM, Service Management) and systems integration.
• Manage third‑party suppliers, implementation partners and outsourced service providers.
• Mentor project managers, business analysts and delivery teams, championing best‑practice PMO processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering large‑scale IT and business transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex, multi‑vendor environments.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in benefits realisation.
