IT Project Manager – Technology Transformation (Fixed-Term)

About the role

The client is a large multi‑site organisation embarking on a major technology and operational transformation. As an IT Project Manager you will lead the delivery of a workforce management and scheduling platform, guiding the project from mobilisation through to business‑as‑usual transition.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and govern the end‑to‑end delivery of the workforce management solution.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, risk registers and dependency logs.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, third‑party suppliers and implementation partners across multiple locations.
• Lead governance forums and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and dependencies.
• Oversee system integration, testing, data readiness, deployment and cut‑over activities.
• Support change‑management, user adoption, training and operational readiness.
• Balance central standards with local operational requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale technology transformation programmes in operationally focused environments.
• Background implementing workforce management, scheduling, rostering or optimisation systems.
• Strong stakeholder management, including engagement with senior leadership.
• Experience working across multiple sites or geographically dispersed teams.
• Excellent governance, planning, budgeting and risk‑management capabilities.
