IT Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Security Analyst to join the Global IT Security Team. The role will protect business‑critical systems, support an ISO27001‑certified ISMS and help shape future security programmes in a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and continuously improve the ISO27001‑certified Information Security Management System.
• Maintain compliance with security standards in partnership with IT Security Management and external consultants.
• Review, update and enhance information security policies, procedures and controls.
• Respond to security incidents, supporting investigation, containment and recovery.
• Develop and enhance cyber‑security monitoring, detection and alerting capabilities.
• Monitor internal and external threat landscapes and report emerging risks.
• Research and recommend new security technologies, trends and best practices.
• Define security KPIs and support internal compliance and assurance reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT and network security operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Required skills

• CISSP certification (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with a broad range of security technologies, tools and controls.
• Good understanding of ISO27001 or other recognised information‑security frameworks.
• Experience in risk assessment, threat detection, vulnerability management and incident response.
