IT Supplier Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Supplier Analyst to join the Group Technology team in Milton Keynes. The role supports the IT Sourcing and Supplier Management function, ensuring suppliers meet contractual obligations and spend remains within agreed thresholds. You will work in a hybrid model, spending two days a week in our office.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data and produce reports on existing and potential third‑party relationships to align service performance with contracts.
• Support Supplier Managers by gathering stakeholder input on supplier performance and documenting actions from governance forums.
• Validate spend, goods received and invoice values, resolve anomalies and escalate repeated errors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with supplier contacts and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in supplier identification, onboarding and execution of fair, auditable selection processes.
• Contribute to price negotiations by gathering industry data and challenging assumptions.
• Work with legal and internal teams to create agreement and schedule content.
• Track supplier performance and service quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT supplier or vendor management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce clear reports.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Good understanding of contractual obligations, regulatory and legal requirements.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships.
