IT Support Analyst – Manchester

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join a leading national architecture practice in Manchester. You will provide first‑to‑third line technical support to users across several UK offices, ensuring the practice’s IT systems run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st‑ to 3rd‑line IT support for hardware, software and network issues across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems on desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows 11 workstations, Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Create and deploy PC images using PowerShell and imaging tools.
• Support Microsoft 365, Teams and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Provide assistance with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and, where required, Bentley software.
• Manage help‑desk tickets, prioritize requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with user onboarding, hardware builds and PC imaging projects.
• Collaborate with the wider IT team to maintain servers, network infrastructure and business systems.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in an IT support or analyst role within architecture, design, construction or engineering.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to handle a varied workload.
• Proactive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering high‑quality customer support.
