IT Support Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Assistant to join a fast‑growing consumer‑focused business in Acton, London. This is an ideal position for someone early in their IT career who enjoys hands‑on technical support and wants exposure to a wide range of technologies, systems and business projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st line IT support for hardware, software and business applications.
• Manage and resolve service‑desk tickets within agreed SLAs, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Prepare, configure and ship IT equipment for new starters and internal moves.
• Maintain accurate asset records and technical documentation.
• Support bespoke business systems, user‑testing activities and IT infrastructure rollouts.
• Deliver responsive onsite support to warehouse teams, installing and maintaining desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, printers, peripherals and cabling.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk or Helpdesk environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical users.
• Customer‑focused attitude and willingness to help colleagues.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast‑paced operational setting.
