IT Support Assistant – London

About the role

The client is a multi‑award‑winning design studio looking for an IT Support Assistant to join their London team. You will provide first‑ and second‑line technical support to staff across two offices, ensuring smooth operation of all IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for desktops, laptops and related hardware.
• Set up, configure and maintain workstations and laptops.
• Collaborate with the Head of IT on system reviews and software management.
• Manage cloud‑based email (Office 365) and internal phone system, liaising with telecom suppliers.
• Guide staff on software usage and resolve day‑to‑day technical issues.
• Monitor and maintain server and folder structures, data storage and backups.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of relevant IT support experience, preferably within the built environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems both independently and collaboratively.
