IT Support Engineer – 1st Line (London)

About the role

We are a digital health company focused on weight management, seeking a First‑Line IT Support Engineer to be the initial point of contact for UK‑based employees and clinicians. The role is office‑based in Euston, London and works on a rotating shift covering 8 am‑8 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support to onsite and remote colleagues and clinicians via the IT service desk.
• Log, triage and resolve incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues to Tier 2/3.
• Perform basic device setup, provisioning, imaging and configuration of laptops and desktops.
• Assist with software installation, updates and routine patching tasks.
• Conduct first‑line checks on endpoint security alerts and escalate as required.
• Support meeting‑room and video‑conferencing technologies, escalating unresolved issues.
• Respond to Priority 3 and Priority 4 incidents within SLA and aid triage of higher‑priority incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions and configurations.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience or strong interest in end‑user support, preferably in an office or regulated environment.
• No degree required.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and Google Workspace.
• Willingness to learn device imaging and endpoint lifecycle processes.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• Familiarity with meeting‑room and video‑conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.
