IT Support Engineer – Gloucester

About the role

Join a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing business as an IT Support Engineer. You will be the primary point of contact for 1st and 2nd line support, helping end users while contributing to broader IT operations, infrastructure, and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end users.
• Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online and Intune.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Group Policy.
• Configure and maintain hardware, software, and networking components.
• Support onboarding/off‑boarding processes and maintain asset records.
• Assist with meeting‑room AV equipment, telephony solutions, and mobile device management.
• Contribute to security initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Group Policy.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching, wireless).
• Ability to support Windows, macOS, iOS, and other mobile devices.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
